Rev. Chris Cooper

Rev. Chris Cooper serves as the Chief Ministry Officer at The Park Church in Charlotte, NC under the leadership of Bishop Claude R. Alexander Jr. As a part of The Park Church Executive Leadership team within his role capacity he oversees; all Staff, Ministry Leaders, Ministry Operations and stewards The Park Church’s Vision, Mission, Strategy. Chris has a 20+ years of Corporate and Executive Management experience including several Fortune 500 companies including Kelly Services, IBM and ADP. His direct sales management and leadership has secured and negotiated well over $100 million in enterprise software licenses and professional services contracts. Prior to serving under Bishop Alexander’s leadership,

Chris held Executive Leadership roles within two Global Non-Profit ministry organizations (WCA – Willow Creek Association and ALARM – African Leadership and Reconciliation Ministries). Securing significant national and global impact contracts producing ongoing sustainable relationships to this day.

Chris sits on several boards and continues to advises national and global business and non-profit organizations. He has been instrumental in publishing books on Prayer, and is a pioneer in introducing men’s soul work through transformational experiences for men residing in urban city communities which has impacted thousands of people through the impact within these men. Chris has authored content that has been published and distributed by The American Bible Society. Having traveled to 27 countries including many on the continent of Africa, Chris is uniquely acquainted with the awareness that each country in Africa is different; culturally, tribally, government structures, economic distinction and contextually.

As a resident of Charlotte, with his wife Sharon of 27 years, they have one Daughter in college, Kayla. Chris is an avid recreational golfer, who loves fishing, when possible, as well as the outdoors, traveling and relaxing with the family whenever the opportunity arises.
