Daniel Anagho

Daniel Anagho, born in Bamenda, Cameroon, is the President and founder of the African Investment Corporation (AiC). With a B.S. in Economics from Mankato University, he spent over 10 years as a management consultant for PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Ernst & Young and Capgemini before establishing AiC in 2003.
Committed to fostering foreign direct investment (FDI) in African nations, AiC earned certification as a Loan Originator for the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), now known as the Development Finance Corporation (DFC). Daniel’s leadership at AiC involved structuring investments, identifying projects, and securing financing in collaboration with African governments and private businesses. His influence steered investments in projects with a cumulative value exceeding $200 million.

 

Since 2017, Daniel Anagho has been a key figure at AEG International, focusing on developing business and identifying projects for Africa. His efforts have led to the expansion of business operations in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and Ghana. Notably, Daniel secured over $2 million in grants for feasibility studies from The United States Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) highlighting his dedication to driving economic growth and sustainable development in the region.

Daniel Anagho is actively involved in a pivotal project, spearheading a $30 million USD initiative in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). This ambitious endeavor aims to construct a 35-megawatt solar farm dedicated to powering the province of Equateur. His role in steering this substantial renewable energy project underscores his commitment to sustainable development, energy accessibility, and economic advancement in the region.

Outside his professional endeavors, Daniel Anagho’s philanthropic endeavors extend to both The Sparrows Nest Ministries in Maryland and A Better World in the Charlotte area, where he serves on the board. Passionate about giving back and making a difference, he actively contributes to providing a safe haven for at-risk children. Daniel’s commitment to serving the youth reflects his belief in the transformative power of support and community engagement for the betterment of young lives.

Daniel Anagho, alongside his wife of 26 years, is a devoted family man with four children. They currently make their home in Waxhaw, NC, where Daniel balances his career, community involvement, and his role as a loving husband and father.
